Answer: 27.713 cm^2

Step-by-step explanation:

side = 8 cm

perimeter = 8+8+8

                = 24 cm

semi perimeter = 24/2

                          = 12 cm

area = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)    ['s' is the semi peri here]

       = √12(12-8)(12-8)(12-8)

       = √12 x 4 x 4 x 4

       = √12 x 64

       = √768

       = 27.713 cm^2

you can also the formula √\frac{3}{4} a^2

where 'a' is the side of the triangle

it is used only in the case of an equilateral triangle

HOPE IT HELPS :)
