FIRSTLY,

CONVERT 9(X+Y)^2 INTO [3(X+Y)]^2.

THEN BY USING THE GIVEN IDENTITY

I.E.,

[3(X+Y)]^2-X^2

BY USING IDENTITY

[3(X+Y)+X] [3(X+Y)-X]

[3X+3Y+X] [3X+3Y-X]

THAT GIVES

[4X+3Y] [2X+3Y]

HOPE IT HELPS
