By using remainder theorem find the value of k so that 4xsquare + kx -1 leaves the remainder 2 when divided by x-3

x-3=0, x=3, then, 4*3square +3k - 1=2, 36 + 3k -1=2, 36 + 3k=2 +1, 3k=3 -36, k= -33/3, k=-11
