( {3x -  \frac{1}{2x}) }^{2}

( {3x)}^{2}  + ( { \frac{1}{2x}) }^{2}  - 2 \times 3x \times  \frac{1}{2x}

9 {x}^{2} +  \frac{1}{4 {x}^{2} } -  \frac{3x}{2x}
