x- 5y= 15

x= 15+5y.........(1)

2x+3y= 9

2(15+5y)+3y= 9

30+10y+3y= 9

13y= 9-30

13y =-21

y= -21/13

y= -1.6..........................(2)

x- 5y= 15

x- 5(-1.6)= 15

x- 8= 15

x= 15- 8

x= 7....................(3)
