The biological fossils’ age can be determined using the method of Radioactive or Radiometric dating.

In this technique, radioactive elements that are present within the rocks are traced for examination purposes.

Then, when they are successfully located, carbon and other radioactive elements that are found, their half-life is determined in order to calculate age of the rocks or the fossils.
