Assume that n is the required number.

Then,

       \rm 1\dfrac{1}{2} \div n = \dfrac{2}{3}\\\\\\\\ \dfrac{3}{2}\div n= \dfrac{2}{3}\\\\\\ \dfrac{3}{2} \times \dfrac{1}{n}=\dfrac{2}{3}\\ \\ \\ \dfrac{\dfrac{3}{2}\times \dfrac{1}{n}}{\dfrac{3}{2}}=\dfrac{\dfrac{2}{3}}{\dfrac{3}{2}}\\ \\ \\ \dfrac{1}{n}=\dfrac{4}{9}\\ \\ \\\therefore n = \frac{9}{4}

Hence,

  • 1 ½  should be divided by 9/4 to get 2/3
