let X should be multiplied to -3/4 to get 2/3,

then,

x×(-3/4)= 2/3

X= -2×4/3×3 = -8/9

so product of -8/9 and -3/2 will be equal to 2/3

Let us take the number as x which has to be multiplied to -3/4 to get 2/3.

From the given data,

x \times  \frac{ - 3}{4}  =  \frac{2}{3}

 \frac{ - 3}{4} x =  \frac{2}{3}

x =  \frac{2}{3} \div  \frac{ - 3}{4}

x =  \frac{2}{3}  \times  \frac{4}{ - 3}

x =  \frac{8}{-9}

Verification :

 \frac{ - 3}{4}  \times  \frac{8}{ - 9}  =  \frac{2}{3}

 \frac{ - 24}{ - 36}  =  \frac{2}{3}

 \frac{2}{3}  =  \frac{2}{3}

Hope it is clear :-)
