Solution:

Let the number x should (-30/10) be divided to get (-11/4)

=> (-33/10)/x = -11/4

=> (-33/10)/(-11/4) = x

=> (-33/10)×(-4/11) = x

=> [ (-33) × (-4)]/[10×11] = x

=> (3×11×2×2)/(2×5×11)=x

After cancellation, we get

=> 6/5 = x

Therefore,

Required number (x) = 6/5
