Hello

Solution :

Let the no.be x

 \frac{ - 17}{21}  \times x =  \frac{51}{21}

x =  \frac{51}{21}  \div  \frac{ - 17}{21}

x =  \frac{51}{21}  \times  \frac{ - 21}{ 17}

x =  \frac{ - 51}{17}

Verification:

 \frac{ - 17}{21}  \times  \frac{ -5 1}{17}

 \frac{51}{21}

Hope this helps

Step-by-step explanation:

let x is the number which multiple by -17/21 to get 51/21

 \frac{ - 17}{21}  \times x =  \frac{51}{21}  \\  \frac{ - 17x}{21}   =  \frac{51}{21}  \\  - 17x = 51 \\ x =  \frac{ - 51}{17}  \\ x =  - 3

thanks
