Let the no. be x.

According to question :

x*(-15/50)=5/7
x=(5×50)/(-15×7)
x=50/-21
x=-50/21

Rational no. Is of form p/q
Let us take p/q =x
As per question,

x*5/2 + 2/3= -7/12
 Solving L.H.S by taking LCM we get

x* 5/2 + 2/3 = (15x + 4) /6
Now,
Solving both sides
(15x + 4)/6 = -7/12
30x +8 = -7
30x = -15
x = -1/2
