So,

→ Dividend = (1/2)

→ Divisor = x

→ Quotient = (1/4)

then,

→ Dividend ÷ Divisor = Quotient

→ (1/2) ÷ x = (1/4)

→ (1/2) / x = (1/4)

→ (1/2) / (1/4) = x

→ (1/2) * (4/1) = x

→ x = 2 (Ans.)
