First We need to factorise the number

⇒ 250 = 2 × 5 × 5 × 5

⇒ - ( 250 ) = - ( 2 × 5 × 5 × 5 )

to be a perfect cube, the number's factors should be in form of triplets.

⇒  \frac{-250}{2} = -5³

⇒  -125 = (- 5 )^{3}

∴ The smallest number needed to be divided is 2
