The Slash and Burn agriculture is also known as " Podu " Cultivation or Shifting Cultivation or Jhumming Cultivation. In this cultivation the farmers used to clear some parts of forest by burning them. As the ash improves the fertility of soil. There they sow the seeds✔️✔️✔️

Slash and burn type agriculture is also known as:-->Primitive subsistence farming. Mainly used by NOMADS, who, usually keep moving from one place to another. In this type of farming, the trees and other plants are burnt when the soil becomes infertile to grow any crops. When those organic substances are mixed with the soil, it makes the soil fertile. This process is done till the soil fertility is obtained.
