Brainly App for Mobile phones that is for
IOS and Android systems has been developed by the Software Product Development
team. It has been designed and developed under the leadership and guidance of
the CEO Director Michael Borkowsky and Thomas Kraus. The team of engineers
and managers is located at the headquarters of Brainly in New York.
The software product development
team designed and developed the specifications, user interface along with the
facilities for multimedia and mathematical symbols and equation
scripting.
In 2013 Brainly was released world
over in English and many other languages. Since 2014, use of Brainly system on
web had been exponentially growing at the speed of light. Several students and
learners had access to Mobile phone as Mobile phones became cheaper.
Young wanted to clarify their
doubts on the move and quickly. They didn't want to depend on slow internet
connections on desktops. Using the app is simpler as it shows the knowledge of
the world on the palm itself.
In 2015, the requirement for an App had
grown since many students felt its necessity. For all members of Brainly family
like content writers and moderators, there had to be a way to access Brainly at
any point of time, through the magic gadget. So providing the App could not be
postponed further.
Development started in 2015/2016
and in 2016 the Brainly app was released. Since then a number of upgrades had
been released to make it beautiful and easier to use.
The main difference between the web
version and the app for the user is the JOIN THE LIVE CHAT feature. While a
content writer or a student is writing an answer, knowledge experts and seniors
could join the chat to view the answer in progress. They could appreciate
the writer, give him/her some tips, contradict the writer, or complain against
the content to a moderator.
Thus a live chat facility helps
all persons involved in the activity of answering one question. That
gives a lot of satisfaction to the inquirer. The answer is reviewed while being
written (posted). So it is better than an unreviewed (posted) answer on
the web version. Even on the web version there is live chat but is restricted
to some experts only. But with the app any curious mind could enjoy live
reviewing of other's answers.
One of the main reasons for developing Brainly App is the new feature "Follow a user". When a user posts a question, the users following the inquirer get a notification on the brainly app. It says "the inquirer needs help !". Thus capable users can take care of helping the inquirer.

Brainly App uses very little internet bandwidth as compared to the web version. Only a few KB data is needed for each task/question. Also a browser has to be refreshed by a user to update information in display. Brainly app refreshes in a much better way the contents being displayed.
Brainly App allows quicker navigation through the questions and answers asked by a user. It shows the subject wise list of answers written by a user.
Brainly App allows listing the followers of a user and users followed by the user in a more convenient way. It is easy to filter the lists quickly. Brainly web version has the feature “Friend”. It is not quick and also it is slower to search friends list.
Brainly App allows equation editor and symbols in a limited way as compared to the web version. It does not allow control characters. It does not have formatting facility yet. There is some difficulty in handling multiple attachments. Perhaps in future more features are developed. It is mainly meant for users and writers. Reporting content is possible. But moderation is not yet possible.
Brainly App starts off much quicker than the web version. It is lighter. This is an advantage. Further, it is simpler to connect to different sites of Brainly worldwide. You could simply change a setting to switch among different sites.
