By working 8 hours a day, A can complete a work in 10 days. If he reduces the work hours by 3 hours per day, then he can complete the same work in..........................days.

A can complete the work in 10 days by working 8 hours a day. So if he reduces the work hour by three then the working hours will be 5.
So,here is your answer
8hours->10 days
5hours->x days
X=5x10/8
X=6.25 days
So, A can complete the work in 6.25 days

A can complete a work in 10 days.

then,
Total time taken to comlpete the work in 10 days = 10 × 8 hrs. = 80 hrs.

Now ,
If he reduces the work hours by 3 hours per day
then ,
1 day = 8 - 3 hrs.
1 day = 5 hrs.

Now,
Total days he take to complete same work
= 80/5 days
= 16 days
