The area of a trapezium is 360 m², the distance between two parallel sides is 20 m and one of the parallel side is 25 m. Find the other parallel side.

 \huge \mathbb \green{Required \:  Answer}⤵️

Let the other parallel side be x.

Formula to find area of trapezium:-

 \huge \pink{Area = \frac{a  + b}{2}  \times h}

Given,

Area=360m^2

Parallel sides=25m,x

Height=20m

Putting the values in formula:-

  \red{{360} =  \frac{25 + x}{2}  \times 20}

 \pink{ \frac{360}{20}   =  \frac{25 + x}{2} }

 \pink{18  \times 2 = 25 + x} \\  \pink{36 = 25  + x} \\  \pink{x = 36 - 25} \\  \\  \huge  \mathbb\red{x = 11}

Another Parallel side = 11m
