Answer:

If the father has blood group A, the genotype may be

(homozygous) or(heterozygous).

Similarly, if mother has blood group B, the genotype maby be (homozygous) or(heteroxygous). In case a homozygous

father and mother, then the offspring will have blood group AB,

Thus, the genotype of parents of a child having blood group, 'O' will be(male) and(female). The possible genotypes of the other offsprings will be A,B and AB.

'O' blood group has genotype ii (recessive)

Therefore the mother and father must have either both i (recessive) or only one i (recessive) in ther genotype.

In this case , Father has A blood grp therefore the possible genotype is Iai with one dominant Ia gene and recessive i gene.

Similarly , Mother has B blood grp therefore the possible genotype is Ibi with one dominant Ib gene and recessive i gene.

Therefore , the possible genotype of the offsprings are IaIb , ii , Iai , Ibi that is AB , O , A , B blood group respectively.

hope it helps..
