(c) A salesman's salary is reduced by Rs. 50 a month while the rate of his
commission is increased by 11%. What difference would the change make in the
salesman's remuneration on a sale of Rs. 7200 in a month? ​

Let ram own 'x' rupees.

First it is decreased by 50%, means ram has only 0.5x rupees with him.

Now the amount with ram is increased by 50% means 0.5x+0.25x=0.75x

Finally ram owns 0.75x rupees.

Decrease in % is 1.0x-0.75x=0.25x

Which is equal to 25% loss.
