prove that 9+√3 is irrational number

Let us assume that √3+9 is rational number

then 9+√3=p/q(where p and q are co primes and q not =0

then 9 +√3=p/q

then √3=p/q-9

then √3=p-9q/q

Here

L.H.S=√3(irrational number)

R.H.S=p-9q/q(rational number)

This contradicts the fact

Therefore;our assumption is wrong

THEREFORE 9+√3 is an irrational number
