C. Answer the following questions.

  1. Primary key is used to identify data uniquely therefore two rows can't have the same primary key. It can't be null. On the other hand, foreign key is used to maintain relationship between two tables. Primary of a table act as forgein key in the other table.
  2. Query criteria help you zero in on specific items in an Access database. If an item matches all the criteria you enter, it appears in the query results. To add criteria to an Access query, open the query in Design view and identify the fields (columns) you want to specify criteria for.
  3. There are three main views in which a form is displayed: Normal View: This is the main editing view, which is used to design presentation. The views has three working areas: on the left, outline tabs, slides tab. Slide Sorter view: This is an exclusive view of slides in thumbnail form.
  4. Reports generally involve presenting your investigation and analysis of information or an issue, recommending actions and making proposals.
  • Executive summary – highlights of the main report
  • Table of Contents – index page
  • Introduction – origin, essentials of the main subject
  • Body – main report
  • Conclusion – inferences, measures taken, projections
  • Reference – sources of information
  • Appendix

5.

  • On the Database Tools tab, in the Relationships group, click Relationships.
  • On the Design tab, in the Relationships group, click Add Tables (or Show Table in Access 2013).

  • Select one or more tables or queries and then click Add. After you have finished adding tables and queries to the Relationships document tab, click Close.

  • Drag a field (typically the primary key) from one table to the common field (the foreign key) in the other table. To drag multiple fields, press the CTRL key, click each field, and then drag them.

  • Verify that the field names shown are the common fields for the relationship. If a field name is incorrect, click on the field name and select the appropriate field from the list.
  • To enforce referential integrity for this relationship, select the Enforce Referential Integrity check box. For more information about referential integrity, see the section Enforce Referential Integrity.
