Answer:

1.The powerful Turkish nobles were reluctant to accept a woman as the ruler of Delhi. The nobles wanted a puppet ruler who could govern according to their wishes. Razia however was not willing to rule according to their desires.

Explanation:

2.Nobody could even dare to smile in his court. He introduced the Persian custom of 'Sijdah' or prostration before the king and 'Paibos' or kissing the feet of the King. Orthodox Muslims were against these customs and hence they opposed these customs but they were helpless as Balban was very powerful.

3.He decided not to reconquer areas that had broken away, nor to keep further areas from taking their independence. He was indiscriminately benevolent and lenient as a sultan. He decided to keep nobles and the Ulema happy so that they would allow.

4.Muhammad bin Tughlaq transferred his capital from Delhi to Daulatabad primarily because of two reasons: . Because Delhi was within the reach of the Mongols, Daulatabad appeared to be at a safe distance from the possible Mongol attacks in the future.

5.Administration during the Delhi Sultanate was based on the laws of the Shariat or the laws of Islam. Political, legal and military authority was vested in the Sultan. Thus military strength was the main factor in succession of throne.
