Answer:

A = 6 , B = 4 , C = 5

Given : -

C B 5 - 2 8 A = 2 5 9

At Unit Place = 5 - 9 ;

Since 5 < 9

i.e need to borrow 1 from tens place digit

=> 15 - 9 = 6

i.e A = 6

& ;

Now , for B : -

At , Tens place => B - 8 = 5 , B = 5 + 8 = 13

Since , 1 is borrowed by 5

Therefore , instead of 3 it will be 3 + 1 = 4

( i.e 14 - 8 = 5 , 1 is borrowed from hundredth place or from C )

i.e B = 4

& For , C : -

At hundredth place => C - 2 = 2 , C = 2 + 2 = 4

Since , 1 is borrowed by B

Therefore , instead of 4 it will be 4 + 1 = 5

i.e C = 5

A + 8 = 3, then A has to be 5 because unit digit of the sum has to be 3. There is a carry-over of 1.So, 4+9+1=14A = 5 , B = 4 and

C = 1 ....
