A plane mirror is made using some highly reflecting and polished surface such as a silver or aluminium surface in a process called silvering. After silvering, a thin layer of red lead oxide is applied at the back of the mirror .
Uses of plain mirror in our daily life:
1)Used in periscopes for signalling . 2)In kaleidoscopes to see round dangerous bend. 3)In SLR camera to click photos. 4)Car wing mirrors to view vehicles at behind and side that is to view traffic behind.
