i) Guard cells- form stomatal pores which regulate CO2 influx from the atmosphere into the leaves for photosynthetic carbon fixation

ii) Chromosomes- they carry genetic information and control the hereditary transfer

iii) Root hair- they absorb water and minerals from the soil, fix the plant in the doil giving it support and conduct the water and minerals into the stem for supply to the leaves,flowers, fruits etc .

iv) Glomerulus- The glomerulus of the nephron filters the blood and produces glomerular filtrate.

v) Lenticels- It functions as a pore, providing a pathway for the direct exchange of gases between the internal tissues and atmosphere through the bark, which is otherwise impermeable to gases.
