$\bold{\longmapsto}$Ever heard the term “Time flys by fast when you’re having fun”? Basically what it means is that you’re having so much fun that you’re brain can’t keep track of time so in your mind Time is going by much slower than it actually is.

You start playing video games at 9 AM. You play for an hour and then check the time and it’s 10:30 AM. Your brain doesn’t know how much time actually passed until you check the time but it only felt like an hour because you were having fun.

A similar thing happens when you sleep because you lose all your senses, you lose your track of time and that’s why when you sleep for 8 hours it feels like you just fell asleep and woke up immediately.

So because you have 2 days off of Work or School you automatically are having fun because now you can do anything you want. Oh. But now you can’t because it’s already been 2 days.

Alternatively during the weekdays time goes by slower because your so bored all you can think is what time is it? So you constantly check the time. It’s the only thing you can focus on.

You go to work at 9 AM you work for an hour then check the time and it’s now 9:30 AM.

Also weekends are 3 days shorter than weekdays, so they tend to go by faster.
