 \sf = 4 \times  \frac{1}{4}  + 3 \times  \frac{1}{2}  - 2 \sqrt{3}

 \sf = 1 +  \frac{3}{2}  - 2 \sqrt{3}

 \sf =  \frac{2 + 3  -  4 \sqrt{2} }{2}

 \sf =  \frac{5  -  4 \sqrt{2} }{2}

Hence, the required answer is (5-4√2)/2.
