Heavy metals are metallic elements which are toxic and have high density, specific gravity or atomic weight.
Mercury in drinking water affects our nervous system.
Lead in drinking water comes from oldpipes and affects our nervous system and kidneys.
Arsenic is common reason for heavy metal poisoning in adults which affect skin, liver and eyes.
Heavy metal contamination can adversely affect human health and the most common heavy metals are Lead, Mercury, Arsenic and Cadmium.
