( c)Abiotic factors manipulate how the biology of an organism operates. If it’s really hot outside (abiotic), humans sweat (biotic), dogs pant (biotic), plants wilt (biotic). If it’s really cold (abiotic), humans shiver (biotic), dogs try to increase acivity or behaviorally reduce their exposure by curling up (biotic), plants wilt to increase the solute:solvent ratio and make the water they store harder to freeze (biotic).

3(a)A food chain only follows just one path as animals find food. eg: A hawk eats a snake, which has eaten a frog, which has eaten a grasshopper, which has eaten grass.

(b)The different ways that animals and plants are interdependent in an ecosystem because they depend on each other for basic survival needs like food, protection, shelter and propagation. Plants provide food for animals and humans, who cannot make their own foods like plants do.
