so we will find compound interest on 1 year.

amount=15625{ 1 + 8/100}

            =Rs.16875

C.I on one year=16875-16525=Rs.350

principal for second year=Rs. 16875

therefore S.I. for 6 months(half year)=16875×8×1/100×2

                                                            =Rs.675

total C.I=350+675=Rs.1025
