Answer:
Explanation:
Aksionov had given up all hope; all he did was pray to God for mercy and for the truth to be revealed. For 26 years, Aksionov was convicted in Serbia for a crime he had not committed. As the years passed by, his appearance gradually changed, his hair grew as white as snow, and his beard looked long, thin and grey. His amusement(mirth) vanished and he stooped while walking as slower than before. He stopped laughing. However he prayed regularly and his praying practices were untouched. In the prison, he learnt how to make boots and he earned some money. Using this earned money he bought a book named The Lives of the Saints. He read this book when there was enough light in his cell. On Sundays, he read these lessons in the church and was also a part of the Choir that sung in the church.
