Harry stormed in his mind that as the treasure was sent off by the boat and never reached the Indians was because of the storm in the sea that day, which have possibly dashed the boat and the box of the treasure making the treasure scatter and lay secure at the bottom of the sea.

So, they dived in the sea and found the treasure, number of ingots, at the bottom of the sea.
