Answer:

Here Some Formula Used in Answer

Area Of Triangle = 1/2 base × Height

Given :

ABCD is a Square .

BE = 4 cm

CE = 12 cm

Find :

Area Shaded Portion

Solutions:

Area Of Shaded part = Area Of ∆ ABE + Area

Of ∆ DCE

Area Of Triangle = 1/2 Base × Height

Area Of Triangle = 1/2 × 16 × 4 + 1/2 × 16 × 12

Area Of Triangle = 32 + 96 cm^2 The Length

Of a Square ( 12 + 4 ) = 16 cm

The Area Of Shaded Portion 128cm^2
