(i) Prove that R is the mid-point of side BC

p is the midpoint of side AD.And PR is parallel to AB.

since PQ = half AB ( Mid point theorem)

Therefore

PQ =12/2=6

so ,PQ =6. equation 1

similarly in DBC

RQ = 8/2=4. equation 2

Then adding equation 1 and 2

so ,PR = PQ +RQcm

PR = 6+4 = 10cm
