C is the centre and RS is a diameter of a circle. P is any point in the interior of the circle. write the type of angle RPS and explain with figure.

Given : C is the center and RS is a diameter of a circle. P is any point in the interior of the circle.

Solution:

Keep in mind angle in a semicircle is right angle.

So, if point P lies on the circle , then ∠RPS= 90°

Now, if point P lies in the interior of circle , it must be an acute angle.

So, ∠RPS = Acute angle< 90°
