Answer:

This question from the story, "The Night we won the Buick" by John Griggs and in this story, it is shown that the narrator is pretty upset with his poor lifestyle and frustrated about the fact that his family is the only family in New York that does own the car.

Explanation:

  • The story, "The Night we won the Buick", brings out the frustration that the narrator faces owing to his poor lifestyle because of which he is unable to afford a  car
  • All the families in New York have a car except his, as his father was a clerk and whatever he earned was disbursed among the ill and poor members of their family
  • So instead of the car, they made use of a cart with a small two-wheeled basket for shopping
  • Considering the question, if my family was the only family that didn't own a car while everybody else owns one, I would have been a bit upset considering that I lack something that everybody has but even more thankful of the many things that I possess like my family, their love etc.
  • Materially I might have been lacking with things that is very commonly found with people, but I would have tried to understand from where my family is coming from and be very thankful for I have received from them .
