C.S.A of a cylindrical pillar is 264m square and its volume is 924m cube. Find its diameter and height.​

Answer:

CSA = 264m^2

2πrh = 264 m^2_____(1)

h = 264 / 2πr____(2)

volume = 924m^3

π r^2 h = 924 m^3 _____(3)

from 1 and 3

r = 7 m

put the value of r in 2

h= 6 m

Diameter = 2× r = 2× 7m = 14 m

and height (h) = 6m
