Answer:

1.Protoplasm is the living matter of the cell. Yes, they cannot be chemically analysed as the chemical composition of the Protoplasm is complicated. The common elements and the Protoplasm composition namely hydrogen, carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, iron, sulphur, Phosphorus are same in all cells with slight variation in cells.

2. Organ -

A.They are present through out the body.

B. Visible to the naked eyes, larger in size.

C. Carry out functions of the entire body.

Organelle-

A.Known as little organs, are found within the cell.

B. Microscopic in size.

C. Carry out functions within the cell.

3. The cell size is independent of the size of the entity. The cell size of a rat and that of an elephant are the same. Within the entity , the cell size is the same, it does not differ. However, what varies is the number of cells. Number of cells in a large entity such as elephant is much more compared to a smaller entity such as rat.

4.(a)Protoplasm-

Protoplasm is living matter of the cell. The total substance of a living cell- nucleus and cytoplasm.

Cytoplasm-

Mixture of insoluble and soluble organic compound, and water wherein different cell organelles are implanted.

(b)Prokayotes-

A. Cells contain primitive and undefined nucleus.

B. Other than ribosomes, they do not contain any other cell organelle.

C. Possess smaller ribosomes.

Eukaryotes-

A. Have a well-defined nucleus along with a nuclear membrane.

B. Possess other all organelles.

C. Larger ribosomes.
