ans: small family means a family having a mother, father & 1/2 children
- big family means a family is made up of 1/2 parents with 3 more children, these being either the children of both both parents or any one of the parents, or with 2 children if one of them has been acknowledged as disable..... must be financially dependent on the parent or parents.

- ans: a family which lives together with all family members up to second generation like grand parents, parents, uncle, aunts & their children is called a joint family.
