To prove : EG //CD

PROOF : since AB//CD AND T IS A

TRAVERSAL

WE

HAVE

<AEF = <EFD (ALT.INT.<S)

=1/2<AEF = 1/2<EFD

= <GEF = <EFG

But , these are alternate interior angles

formed when the transversal EF cuts

EG and FH.

Therfore : EG//FH.

Hence proved......
