Answer:
1.Ans: As we know, average speed is equal to the total distance divided by the total time taken: So, the distances are 18m, 22m and 14m in time 3s, 3s and 3s respectively.
Avg. speed=18m+22m+14m3s+3s+3s
⇒Avg. speed=54m9s
∴Avg. speed=6ms−1
Hence, the required average speed is 6ms−1.
2.Ans: O2 which has a mass of 32 g contains 6.02 X 1023
3.Given:
m = 20 kg
h = 5 m
t = 40 s
To find: We have to find power used by Swaralee to carry bag.
Force applied by Swaralee,
F = mg = 20 * 9.8
F = 196 N
Work done by Swaralee to carry the bag to a height of 5 m,
W = F s = 196 * 5 = 980 J
By using the formula of Power,
Power = work / time
Power = 980/20
Power = 24.5 W
