solution,
let E is the area of cross section of pump pressure of plunger.(force)
L / E = a1/a2 = 800kgf / E = 0.8 /0.02
effort = 800 X 0.02/ 0.8
= 800/2
Effort = 2 Kgf
the force acting on the pump plunger =2Kgf.
