ANS - The rational number which is same as its negative is 0.

EXPLANATION :-

  • What Is Rational Number?

A real number which can be represent in its standarized form i.e. p/q ,where q is not equal to zero.

Now, all fraction , integers, whole numbers are included in Rational numbers.

Therefore, 0 is also rational number i.e. 0/1

But it has a special quality that The additive inverse of zero is zero itself.

  • What is additive Inverse?

The number which when get adds to a number its result become zero is said to be additive inverse of that number.

E.g. Additive inverse of

100 = -100

2 = -2

4/7 = - 4/7

- 6/7 = 6/7

and so on ....

But zero has no sign ( +/ - ) so its additivr inverse or negative is itself zero only while all other rational number has their unique additive integer.
