1)Lianas are characteristic of tropical moist deciduous forests (especially seasonal forests), but may be found in temperate rainforests and temperate deciduous forests.

2)Monsoon forests are also called tropical deciduous forests. These include broad leaved deciduous trees. These trees shed their leaves during dry season. These are mostly found in South East Asian countries.

3)Grasslands in the wider sense are among the largest ecosystems in the world their area is estimated at 52.5 million square kilometres, or 40.5 percent of the terrestrial area excluding Greenland and Antarctica.

4)The Thorn Forests are found in the semi-arid areas of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. The Thorn Forests and Scrubs are found in regions where the rainfall is less than 70cm. The vegetation in these forests are thorny trees and bushes.
