Answer:

The main purpose for writing the story Vocation is to express the different different lifestyle of people in the world and to compare their life with himself.

Explanation:

As in the poem Vocation we can see that poet is expressing the life of a hawker, gardener, watchman and his. He compares his life with the hawker, gardener and watchman. He's comparing that they are very happy. The hawker can spend his whole day in the road. The hawker doesn't have nothing to hurry him on, he can return home anytime, he doesn't have a schedule to must come home back. The gardener also can dig the soil with his spade as his wish. There is no one to scold the gardener if he gets baked or wet in the sun, he doesn't have a schedule to must give up his work for a day. The watchman also can awake in the night as he wants, there is no one to tell him to go to bed. He also doesn't have a schedule to must go to bed.

But the poet has a schedule to must to go to school, to must to come back from school and to must to go to bed for sleep.
