Father's help is a story which is an extract from Novel \pink{Malgudi\:Days} Which was written by "R.K.Narayan." In this novel Narayan portays the life of a small boy swami .This story portrays a day in the life of swami.

One Monday morning swami wakes up with the shudder because he didn't want to go to school.He is also scared of his mathematics teacher.He complains of a headache to his father.His father was adamant so he asks swami to go to school no matter what happens.On this swami narates to his father about the way of his maths teacher punishes the boys.He even add some lie to it.

His father sends a letter to his head master about the complaining of swamis maths teacher cruel attitude.Swami resists it but it is of no use.Swami is in trouble because all he wanted is not to got to school.but to his luck his head master was absent.Soswami bring back the letter .His father scold a him being of cowered and tears the letter.He also wanrened swami not to cry again if maths teacher again beats him.
