c. When the body is accelerating
Answers
Answer:
Newton's second law says that when a constant force acts on a massive body, it causes it to accelerate, i.e., to change its velocity, at a constant rate. In the simplest case, a force applied to an object at rest causes it to accelerate in the direction of the force.

Answer:
When there is a stationary body (0 Velocity or Zero Velocity), there is the Gravtiational Pull acting on the object regardless of location, even Space, the only exemption to the rule would be in some dimension in which the Laws of Physics that we know of don’t apply…Best of Luck Researchers !
Anyways, going of topic…as the body accelerates, the rate it travels uniformly increases per second, hence why te unit for acceleration is m/s/s or m/s^2.
This essentially means that for every seconds that passes, the velocity (remember that Velocity is just a magnitude and direction and only defined if they are both traveling at what we perceive as “direction”.)
As the body accelerated, depending on the exterior environmental circumstances, there will be Drag which is dependent on the Exterior Air Density, hence why it will overall be easier to travel fast in thinner air if you have the propulsion capable of doing so.
As you accelerate, there will be friction, whether you are in Air, Ground, Space or Water.
This is known as the coefficient of friction also known as Mu.
As the body accelerates, there will be several forces acting on the object such as Centripital Force, Gravity, Drag/Friction, Thrust and Lift if you are not in a perfect Vacuum, now whether the minimal amount of air molecules is capable of lifting the object slightly, that would be another question.
There will be a point in which the object will no longer be able to accelerate due to the law of E=MC^2
Since we are assuming this object has mass, unlike photons, you would need Unlimited Energy to be able to travel, of course, it is going to be quite hard to achieve that right now, but I suppose we could build something around it, as well as assuming that Time Dialation doesn’t slow down as you approach c (Speed of Light).
I hope this helps ! All the best !
