75% of the earth is covered with water but still there is an urgent need to conserve it because fresh water reserves are only 2.5%. This 2.5 % fresh water is found in the form of ice caps, glaciers, ponds, lakes, rivers and underground water. We basically use surface water that is easily available to us.
