d)As a strong base , sodium oxide reacts with acids. it would react with dilute hydrochloric acid to produce sodium chloride solution.

e) I) Na2O + 2HCL ---->2NaCl + H20

ii) 4Na2+O2 -------> 2Na2O

iii)2Na+ 2H20 -------> 2NaOH + H2 + heat energy
