Perfect square numbers are numbers whose square roots are whole numbers. Like : √4 = 2, √9 = 3, etc.

Now, A number between 40 and 50, which is a perfect square number is 49, because √49 = 7.

Hence, C = {x : x is a perfect square number , x is less than 40 and grater than 50} = {49}.

Hence, The set is not empty.
